Pala, CA (September 16, 2025) – A pedestrian lost their life on Saturday morning, September 13, after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 76 near Lilac Extension Road in the community of Pala, San Diego County.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at approximately 1:58 a.m. near the Pala Casino Spa Resort. Preliminary information indicates that the pedestrian was walking in the middle of the roadway when they were struck by a Nissan Versa traveling along the highway.
