We wish those hurt a swift recovery.
Collisions involving law enforcement vehicles are relatively rare but often raise additional concerns for the community. In Bakersfield, busy roads such as Rosedale Highway are prone to crashes due to heavy traffic, frequent lane changes, and high speeds. When an emergency vehicle is involved, determining the cause of the crash becomes even more complex.
Car accidents, whether involving civilian or official vehicles, can result in a wide range of injuries. Victims may sustain bruises, whiplash, or more serious conditions such as broken bones or concussions. Even when injuries are considered “minor,” they may require medical treatment, rehabilitation, and time away from work.
When negligence contributes to a collision, injured victims have the right to seek compensation. This applies even in cases where government or law enforcement vehicles are involved. Our car accident attorney can provide critical guidance in such situations, helping victims navigate the legal process and ensuring their rights are protected.
Attorneys can investigate the crash, review police and CHP reports, and collect witness statements to determine liability. We also negotiate with insurance companies, which often attempt to minimize payouts. Compensation may include coverage for medical expenses, lost income, property damage, pain and suffering, and long-term care costs.
