Whittier, CA (November 12, 2025) – Emergency crews responded Tuesday evening, November 11, to a vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision reported near 15525 Whittier Boulevard in Whittier.

According to dispatch information, Engine 191 and Engine 59 were dispatched to the scene following reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in front of the Whitwood area. Upon arrival, firefighters and paramedics located the injured individual and provided immediate medical assistance. The victim was stabilized at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

Authorities briefly restricted traffic in both directions along Whittier Boulevard while emergency personnel assisted the injured pedestrian and cleared the roadway. The driver involved in the collision remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement officials.
