Waterford, CA - Man Dead, Two Injured in Head-on Collision on Hwy 132 at Rushing Rd

Waterford, CA (December 27, 2024) – In Stanislaus County, east of Waterford, a vehicle accident occurred on Thursday night, resulting in the death of one man and the injury of two others, according to the California Highway Patrol.

At approximately 6:00 p.m., the California Highway Patrol was dispatched to Highway 132, which is located east of Rushing Road.  According to CHP, a male operating a sedan traveling eastbound entered the westbound lane and subsequently collided with a pickup vehicle in a head-on collision.

One of the drivers died at the site, while two others sustained serious injuries. Both individuals were transported to nearby medical facilities, though their current conditions are unknown.
