Rebecca Arndt, 62, of Stockton, was killed in the crash around 10:30 p.m. along Highway 99 north of Jack Tone Road, according to the San Joaquin County Medical Examiner’s Office. A 35-year-old Manteca man allegedly driving a GMC truck under the influence of alcohol at a high speed north on Highway 99 in the No. 1 or 2 lane collided with the left rear of Arndt’s Ford Escape, sending her SUV northeast before it came to a rest on its wheels blocking the No. 3 lane and right shoulder, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) said.
