Santa Clara, CA - Fatality & Injuries in Car Crash on I-280 at Page Mill Rd

Santa Clara, CA (February 21, 2025) – According to a Santa Clara PD press release, a fatal multi-vehicle crash happened on Friday on the northbound Interstate 280 Freeway, just south of Page Mill Road in Los Altos Hills.

Also, per the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the traffic accident occurred around 12:10 p.m. on February 21. CHP officials reported a blue BMW had major front-end damage in the collision with a Kia Rio and a third vehicle. Paramedics responded to help those injured, but unfortunately, one person died.

Police issued a SigAlert due to the crash, and tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles. This case is being looked into by the Santa Clara PD's Major Accident Investigation Team. Officials are urging witnesses to step forward with any information that might aid in their investigation.
