Santa Ana, CA - Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with Sedan on SR57 S at Imperial Hwy

Santa Ana, CA (June 28, 2025) – A motorcyclist was killed early Saturday morning after a collision with a sedan on the southbound State Route 57 at the Imperial Highway East on-ramp in Santa Ana. The deadly crash occurred on June 28 at around 12:45 a.m. on June 28, bringing multiple lanes to a standstill for several hours.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle and a gray sedan collided on the freeway, sending debris across multiple lanes. Officers later found the rider down in the high-occupancy vehicle lane while the motorcycle was located on the right shoulder. Despite rapid response and life-saving efforts, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Orange County Coroner’s Office was notified and responded to handle the victim’s recovery.
