San Jose, CA - Woman Killed in Car Crash on I-880 at Tasman Dr

San Jose, CA (March 14, 2025) – A 41-year-old San Jose woman died early Friday following a multi-car freeway crash, the California Highway Patrol said.

The wreck happened about 3:55 a.m. on southbound Interstate 880 at Tasman Drive. According to initial reports confirmed by the CHP, two vehicles collided with one another, and one of them hit a tire on the roadway. More vehicles crashed following the initial collision, the agency said.
