San Diego, CA - Two Motorcyclists Dead in Crash on E Grade Rd at MM 10.6

San Diego, CA (January 6, 2025) – Two motorcycle riders died on January 5 in a crash on a route up Palomar Mountain, according to a Cal Fire spokesperson.

The crash occurred around 1:20 p.m. near mile marker 10.6 on East Grade Road, said Cal Fire Capt. Mike Cornette. The riders died before they could be taken to a hospital, officers confirmed. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash; however, no further details were released.
