San Carlos, CA – Woman Fatally Struck by 2 Vehicles on Mission Gorge Rd

San Carlos, CA (November 22, 2025) – A pedestrian was killed early Wednesday morning, November 19, after being struck by two vehicles in quick succession on Mission Gorge Road in the San Carlos area of San Diego, according to the San Diego Police Department.

The collision occurred shortly after 4:30 a.m. in the 7500 block of Mission Gorge Road near Princess View Drive as the woman was crossing the roadway at a mid-block location. A 2021 Honda CR-V traveling through the area hit the woman. Authorities reported that the impact left her in the roadway.

Moments later, a second vehicle, identified as a 2022 Tesla Model Y, traveled over the pedestrian while she was lying down in the street as a result of the first impact. Emergency responders arrived soon after the reports of the crash and found the pedestrian with fatal injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
