Sacramento, CA (August 22, 2025) – An overnight crash in Sacramento sent two people to the hospital, as per the police.
Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Ninth and T Streets near Southside Park on Thursday, August 21, just before 12:00 a.m., according to the Sacramento Police Department. Arriving officers located two people at the scene, who were both transported to the hospital for medical treatment, police said.
One of them suffered life-threatening injuries and is in critical condition, according to police. The condition of the other injured individual is unknown.
Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit and crime scene investigators are conducting an investigation. Police said they are processing the scene, canvassing the area, and interviewing witnesses. Investigators said DUI appears to be a factor in the collision.
