Sacramento, CA - One Hospitalized in Truck Accident on SR 104 at Clay Station Rd

Sacramento, CA (February 25, 2025) – A major traffic collision occurred Tuesday morning on State Route 104 just east of the intersection with Clay Station Road in Sacramento County.

The drivers of a big-rig truck and a red pickup truck were involved in the accident. The incident was reported to the California Highway Patrol at approximately 8:15 a.m.

Emergency responders were immediately dispatched to the scene, where both the eastbound and westbound lanes were blocked by vehicles. The fire department determined at least one confirmed injury from the accident. A passenger from the pickup truck was transported to Sutter Downtown Hospital for further treatment. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, however.
