Sacramento, CA - Officials Investigate Apt Complex Fire, Injuries on Florin Woods Dr

Sacramento, CA (June 23, 2025) – A unit at an apartment complex caught fire Monday afternoon, June 23, in the Florin area of Sacramento County, according to area authorities.

Fire crews were dispatched around 12:29 p.m. to a property on Florin Woods Drive south of 66th Avenue. Upon arrival, crews found a fire on an exterior patio that had extended into the interior of a residence, the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said. The fire was extinguished, though two adults and a child were displaced. It's unclear the total number of people who were hospitalized. Officials are still investigating the fire, however, and no further details have been released.
