Riverside, CA - Victim Dies, Four Others Hurt in Collision at Heacock St & Ironwood Ave

Riverside, CA (January 25, 2025) – On Friday morning, January 24, a serious two-vehicle crash in Moreno Valley claimed one life and injured four more.

The incident was reported at the intersection of Heacock Street and Ironwood Avenue, just north of the Moreno Valley (60) Freeway, after 11:00 a.m., according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

One person was declared dead at the scene, and firefighters freed several trapped victims.  The remaining four passengers were sent to Riverside University Medical Center for treatment after suffering moderate to severe injuries. Riverside County Sheriff's Department deputies continue to investigate; as of yet, no additional information has been made public.
