Rio Linda, CA (February 24, 2025) – Fire burned at least two modular homes and resulted in injuries in Sacramento County on Monday evening, February 24, according to the Sacramento County Metro Fire District.

The Sac Metro Fire crews arrived at a heavy fire near Elkhorn Boulevard and Sixth Street in Rio Linda around 7:10 p.m. Officials said the fire burned multiple modular buildings and threatened a nearby home on another property. EMTs also assessed and transferred an unknown number of victims to an area hospital. According to the Cal Fire, however, the investigation continues, and no further details were released.
