Pomona, CA (January 23, 2025) – On Tuesday night in Pomona, a car was involved in a crash with a Foothill Transit bus, resulting in one death and the injuries of three other people.

Following the crash, police closed the junction of Monterey and Garey Avenues near the Foothill Transit Center. Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department transported three of the bus's passengers to hospitals after they suffered minor injuries, while one other person was pronounced dead at the site.
