Perris, CA - Two Victims Hit & Injured in Pedestrian Collision on Case Rd

Perris, CA (December 21, 2024) – Two people were injured when they were hit by a car in the parking lot of a shopping center in Perris, according to firefighters on Saturday.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the crash happened around 2:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of Case Road. Crews arrived and found one of the two pedestrians was trapped under a car. They extricated the person and rushed them to a nearby hospital with moderate to major injuries. The second victim suffered minor injuries and declined further treatment.

Firefighters said that investigators are still working to determine what caused the crash, and they also saw the vehicle crash into multiple parked cars in the parking lot. Riverside County Sheriff's Office deputies stated that the victims were a father and son, though they did not say which of the two required hospitalization.
