Palm Springs, CA (August 30, 2025) – A pedestrian sustained moderate injuries in a multi-vehicle collision at a Walmart parking lot in Palm Springs on Thursday morning, August 28. The crash occurred at approximately 11:40 a.m. on the 5600 block of E Ramon Road.

According to the Palm Springs Fire Department, the incident began when a driver was backing out of a parking spot. The driver struck two vehicles, then jumped a curb, over a cart, sideswiped two more vehicles, and finally collided with a parked car, which in turn struck the pedestrian.

Capt. Ronnie Skyberg confirmed that the pedestrian was transported to a local trauma center for treatment. Authorities have not yet released the identity of either the pedestrian or the driver involved in the collision.
