Oregon, CA – Crash at MP 282 on I-5 Claims One Life

Oregon (August 12, 2025) – A fatal crash occurred on Interstate 5 in Clackamas County, Oregon, on Saturday morning, August 9, resulting in the death of a 28-year-old man from Keizer, according to reports from the Oregon State Police.

The accident took place around 6 a.m. near milepost 282 on Interstate 5. The deceased, identified as Ricardo Hernandez, was driving a Chevrolet Avalanche when, for reasons yet to be determined, he veered off the roadway. Hernandez’s vehicle collided with a parked Kenworth commercial truck that was on the shoulder of the highway.
