Orange County, CA (June 17, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on the Orange 57 Freeway occurred Tuesday morning, June 17, at the Chapman Avenue on-ramp, prompting an emergency response and temporary lane closures.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash happened around 10:00 a.m. near the on-ramp to SR-57 southbound. The vehicles involved were a black Lexus RX350 SUV and a gray Scion, with one vehicle reportedly veering off the left shoulder and the SUV blocking the on-ramp lanes. CHP dispatch logs stated that at least one person was injured in the collision, prompting a response from MetroNet Fire Authority.
