Natomas, CA - Woman Killed, Several Hurt in Collision at Arena Blvd & Stemmler Dr

Natomas, CA (January 31, 2025) – A woman has died following a vehicle crash in Natomas on Friday, January 31, the Sacramento Police Department said. A child was also injured in the collision. Officers responded to the report of a crash near the intersection of Arena Boulevard and Stemmler Drive just before 8:30 p.m.

The woman who died was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved, said Anthony Gamble, public information officer for Sacramento police. A child who was a passenger in the backseat of the vehicle was taken to an area hospital where they are in stable condition, Gamble said. Another woman who was driving went to the hospital with the child.

Gamble added that speed appears to be a factor in the crash. That said, per officials, the investigation continues at this time, and no further details were provided in the interim.
