Magalia, CA (March 2, 2025) – The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is investigating a crash off Skyway Road in Magalia that ended in the death of a 25-year-old man from Mentone and left a 20-year-old woman with major injuries.

Officials said the crash happened just before midnight on Thursday, February 27, north of Rosewood Drive. One of the drivers sustained fatal injuries, while a female passenger was transported to Enloe Medical Center for treatment of critical injuries.
