Los Angeles, CA – Woman Injured After Large Dog Bit Her on E 1st St

Los Angeles, CA (November 5, 2025) – Authorities are investigating an animal attack that left a woman injured on November 4 along East 1st Street in Los Angeles.

According to radio dispatch communications, officers from the Hollenbeck Division and emergency medical personnel were called to the 1800 block of East 1st Street after reports of a woman being attacked by a large black dog of unknown breed. The incident occurred in the alley behind a residence at approximately 1828 East 1st Street.

Responding units arrived at the scene under a Code 3 emergency and located a woman in her mid-20s with visible bite wounds.
