Los Angeles, CA – Serious Injury Crash on WB 134 Fwy Leaves One Unconscious

Los Angeles, CA (October 10, 2025) – On October 9, emergency crews responded to a serious traffic incident on the westbound 134 Freeway near the Interstate 5 interchange in Los Angeles. The collision was reported around 8:57 p.m. and involved at least one individual found unconscious at the scene, according to dispatch communications from the California Highway Patrol  and the Los Angeles Fire Department 

Upon arrival, first responders located multiple vehicles stopped on the shoulder of the westbound lanes. Paramedics quickly began administering medical aid to the unconscious victim while other units secured the crash area to prevent secondary collisions. The injured person was later transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment. Their current condition has not been released.

Authorities temporarily shut down portions of the 134 Freeway’s westbound lanes near the I-5 interchange to allow emergency vehicles to access the scene safely. This caused significant traffic delays for evening commuters, with congestion reported as far back as Riverside Drive.

Towing services arrived shortly after 9:30 p.m. to remove the damaged vehicles, and all lanes were reopened after cleanup was completed. The investigation into this incident remains ongoing.
