Los Angeles, CA – Person Trapped in Vehicle After Collision on S Centinela Ave

Los Angeles, CA (November 8, 2025) – Emergency responders were dispatched late Friday evening, November 7, to a serious traffic collision at 1612 South Centinela Avenue in West Los Angeles. According to dispatch communications, the crash resulted in one individual becoming trapped inside a vehicle, prompting an immediate rescue response from multiple fire and medical units.

Engine 172, Life Force 172, Squad 58, and Battalion 20 were all assigned to the scene after reports confirmed that an occupant was unable to exit the vehicle. Upon arrival, firefighters located a heavily damaged car with one person trapped inside. Crews quickly stabilized the vehicle before initiating extrication procedures using hydraulic rescue tools. Once freed, the individual received on-site emergency treatment before being transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The extent of their injuries has not yet been released.

Authorities closed a section of South Centinela Avenue while first responders performed the rescue and cleared debris from the roadway. Traffic in the area was temporarily diverted, causing minor delays for motorists traveling through the neighborhood.
