Los Angeles, CA (October 8, 2025) – Police are investigating a hit-and-run incident that occurred Tuesday evening, October 7, on East 85th Street in South Los Angeles. The crash, reported under incident number 4406, involved a male victim and a fleeing driver who remains at large.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic Division, units were dispatched to 125 East 85th Street after receiving reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers and paramedics located an injured man at the scene. The victim was treated by emergency medical personnel before being transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. His current condition has not been disclosed.

Witnesses described the suspect as a Hispanic male, approximately 40 years old, last seen wearing a pink shirt, black pants, and a black baseball cap. Authorities confirmed that the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.
