Los Angeles, CA – 2 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on W 4th St Near Wells Fargo

Los Angeles, CA (August 18, 2025) – Emergency crews responded Sunday afternoon, August 17, to a serious two-vehicle crash on West 4th Street in downtown Los Angeles. The collision occurred near the Wells Fargo building at 1045 West Marse Street, between Pershing and another cross street, according to dispatch records.

Los Angeles Fire Department units Engine 4, Engine 10, Engine 2, Truck 2, and Battalion Chief 2 were all dispatched to the scene. Reports indicated a possible entrapment in one of the vehicles, which was later confirmed by responding crews. At least one of the cars, identified as a Honda, was left blocking the main traffic lane.

Firefighters worked quickly to stabilize the vehicles and check for trapped occupants. Rescue teams reported using high-draft tools to gain access. Paramedics on standby assessed the injured and prepared them for transport. At least two people were evaluated at the scene, though their conditions have not yet been released.
