Hemet, CA – Bicyclist Fatally Injured in Collision at Lincoln Ave and Soboba St

Hemet, CA (August 11, 2025) – A bicyclist was fatally injured in a collision Friday evening, August 8, at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Soboba Street. The crash occurred just after 6 p.m. when a northbound driver on Soboba Street struck the bicyclist, who was traveling east on Lincoln Avenue.

Rescuers from the Hemet Fire Department initially believed the bicyclist’s injuries were moderate and transported him to the hospital. However, while en route, the victim’s condition deteriorated due to internal injuries. Tragically, the bicyclist succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.

The driver involved in the collision remained at the scene and was tested for possible intoxication. Troopers confirmed that alcohol was not a factor in this fatal incident.
