Harbor City, CA – Fatal Hit and Run Crash on Pacific Coast Hwy

Harbor City, CA (September 26, 2025) – Authorities are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash involving two hit-and-run drivers that occurred Thursday afternoon in Harbor City.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the incident was reported at approximately 12:55 p.m. near the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Western Avenue.

Investigators say the motorcyclist was traveling east on PCH when a silver van heading west made a left turn in front of the rider. The motorcyclist lost control and was subsequently struck by an older model pickup truck, also traveling west on PCH.

Tragically, both drivers failed to stop after the crash. Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived and attempted lifesaving measures, but the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
