Gardena, CA - One Hurt in Three-Vehicle Crash on 405 Fwy at Normandie Ave

Gardena, CA (June 29, 2025) – A person was injured during a three-vehicle crash on Sunday morning, June 29, involving a white Tesla, a gray SUV, and a sedan on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Gardena, authorities said.

The crash occurred at about 10:25 a.m. Sunday on the southbound freeway at the Normandie Avenue off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol. Paramedics rushed one person to Memorial Hospital in Gardena, the CHP said. That person’s condition was not immediately known.

CHP cancelled the SigAlert and reopened all northbound lanes of the 110 Freeway right before 3:00 p.m. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs were factors; that said, the investigation remains ongoing at this time, and no further details have been released.
