Fresno Co, CA - Fatal Mobile Home Fire on Nevada Ave at 11th St Under Inquiry

Fresno County, CA (February 25, 2025) – A woman was killed after a mobile home caught fire in Fresno County on Monday afternoon, February 24.

The fire started around 2:00 p.m. on Nevada Avenue and 11th Street in San Joaquin. Officials with CAL FIRE/Fresno County Fire say a woman was found dead inside the mobile home.

Family members have identified the woman as 64-year-old Carolina Vasquez. According to the Cal Fire, however, the investigation continues, and no further details were released.
