Fresno Co, CA - Fatal Head-on Collision Occurs on Manning Ave

Fresno County, CA (March 19, 2025) – A head-on collision on Manning Avenue resulted in the death of a driver Tuesday afternoon. The California Highway Patrol says a Honda Accord was involved in a head-on crash with a semi-truck on Manning Avenue.

The driver of the semi-truck, a 24-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries in the crash. The driver of the Honda has not been identified due to a fire that engulfed the vehicle. The crash also ignited a two-acre grass fire, which Cal Fire crews quickly brought under control. Meanwhile, authorities are urging witnesses or anyone with information about the crash to come forward; in the interim, an investigation is still ongoing.
