Fresno, CA - Pedestrian Killed in Collision at Manning & Englehart Aves

Fresno, CA (April 22, 2025) – A pedestrian was killed Monday night, April 21, when he was run over multiple times by vehicles on a Fresno County road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officers responded to the fatal incident east of Reedley at 8:35 p.m. along Manning Avenue, east of Englehart Avenue. CHP said a 31-year-old Reedley man was walking in the eastbound lane of Manning when a 22-year-old woman driving a Hyundai Elantra was also headed east on Manning, approaching the man, before she struck him.

A 27-year-old woman in a Honda Accord was unable to avoid the pedestrian in the roadway, CHP said, and he was struck again. The man was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, where he died. That said, further details about what led to the collision have not been made public, and investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
