Fresno, CA - One Dead in Truck Accident at South & Cedar Aves

Fresno, CA (January 17, 2025) – An 83-year-old man died on January 16 in a two-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck in Fresno County. Authorities responded to the crash at 1:25 p.m. at the intersection of South and Cedar Avenues.

California Highway Patrol spokesperson Mike Salas said the man was driving a Mazda pickup truck west on South Avenue, approaching the intersection with Cedar Avenue, when the semi-truck struck his vehicle. He was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
