Fresno, CA - Fatal Auto Accident Occurs on Hwy 33 at Clarkson Ave

Fresno, CA (February 24, 2025) – A juvenile was ejected in a crash in Fresno County on Sunday afternoon, February 23, the California Highway Patrol announced.

According to CHP, just before 1:40 p.m., troopers responded to a crash in the area of Highway 33, north of Clarkson Avenue. For reasons yet to be determined, a Tesla crashed head-on with a Freightliner, and one individual was ejected from the force of impact.

CHP says the victim in the Tesla sustained fatal injuries, and the driver of the Freightliner received treatment on the scene for minor injuries he sustained. However, no further details were released, as the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
