Chico, CA - Man Hospitalized in Collision on Hwy 32 at CR N

Chico, CA (April 28, 2025) – A crash on Highway 32 in Glenn County sent a Carmichael man to the hospital on April 26.

Authorities say the crash involved a 17-year-old driver from Glenn County and a 37-year-old man. According to the California Highway Patrol, the teenager was driving a gold Toyota Camry eastbound on Highway 32 in the area of County Road N around 2:45 p.m. Saturday when the crash occurred.

The force of the impact launched the first car into a dirt embankment. The vehicle eventually came to rest after briefly becoming airborne when it went over the embankment. The California Highway Patrol says the male driver was taken to Enloe Health in Chico for treatment of suspected minor injuries. The teenage driver and a juvenile passenger in the first car were not seriously hurt. With that said, authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident; officers are urging any witnesses to come forward with information that could aid in the investigation.
