Castaic, CA - One Dead, Several Injured in Vehicle Crash on Hasley Canyon Rd

Castaic, CA (June 10, 2025) – One person died in a Castaic crash on Monday afternoon, June 9, after a car with four people crashed on Hasley Canyon Road, the California Highway Patrol reported.

CHP officers responded to the scene of the accident at 4:30 p.m. at Sloan Canyon Road. Four occupants were trapped inside one of the vehicles after its driver veered off the road, the CHP said.

Upon arrival, paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department confirmed one person deceased, but three others were transported to a hospital with undisclosed injuries. The identity of the person who died was not released. That said, the investigation remains ongoing at this time, and no further details have been provided to the public. Witnesses were asked to come forward if they had additional information.
