Bakersfield, CA (March 28, 2025) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that left a person with significant injuries on Friday morning.
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at about 4:45 a.m. on March 28, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Traffic Incident Information page. The collision occurred at the intersection of Nelson and Height Streets. The person, whose age and gender are unknown at this time, was transported to Kern Medical with major injuries, according to CHP Public Information Officer Jorge Toro. The cause of the incident remains under investigation, however.
