Bakersfield, CA (January 2, 2025) – A man was killed, and three others were severely hurt in a suspected DUI crash on Ming Avenue on New Year's Day.

The Bakersfield Police Department said on Wednesday, January 1, at around 1:10 a.m., officers were called to reports of a crash on Ming Avenue and Westholme Boulevard. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other three people, one man, and two women were taken to the hospital and are listed in critical condition.
