Bakersfield, CA - Man Identified in Fatal Crash on Hwy 65

Bakersfield, CA (July 11, 2025) – Nga Ngoc Nho, 60, of Garden Grove, died in a Bakersfield crash involving a white heavy-duty pickup truck and a white minivan on Highway 65 near Minneola Avenue over the weekend, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Troopers identified Nho on Friday, July 11, per authorities. The fatal crash occurred on State Route 65 around 7:22 p.m. on July 6, and one of the vehicles reportedly overturned. CHP confirmed a fatality at the scene and at least three others with injuries. Nho was a passenger in one of the cars. That said, the investigation remains ongoing at this time, and no further details have been released.
