Bakersfield, CA (March 12, 2025) – A man died after he was struck by a train in Delano on Monday night, according to local authorities.

The Delano Police Department said that at around 6:30 p.m., officers were called to the 1100 block of Glenwood Street regarding a train hitting a pedestrian. When officers arrived, they found a man dead. The Union Pacific Railroad Police responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
