Bakersfield, CA - Driver Airlifted After Crash on Garces Hwy at Jumper Ave

Bakersfield, CA (March 28, 2025) – A driver was rushed to a Bakersfield hospital after a crash along Garces Highway on Friday morning, March 28, near Delano. The incident took place just west of Jumper Avenue, and one of the vehicles involved overturned.

The incident was reported just after 8:00 a.m. on Friday, according to CHP’s Traffic Incident Information Page. After CHP and other emergency crews arrived, one of the motorists was transported by life flight to Kern Medical for a head injury. CHP says drugs and or alcohol do not seem to be factors in the crash. However, no further details have been released at this time.
