Arden-Arcade, CA (February 21, 2025) – Two women were taken to the hospital with serious injuries in Sacramento County on February 21 after a driver ran a stop sign, crashing into another vehicle, the California Highway Patrol said.

The crash occurred on Alta Arden Expressway near Wright Street when a Honda driver failed to stop, crashing into a Toyota driven by a man in his 30s, according to CHP. The Toyota overturned after the collision.

CHP said the driver of the Honda left the scene. The vehicle also had two female passengers in their 20s, and they were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
