Anaheim, CA – Pedestrian Fatally Struck on 57 Fwy at Katella Ave

Anaheim, CA (September 21, 2025) – On Saturday night, September 20, a fatal pedestrian accident was reported on the southbound lanes of the Orange (57) Freeway in Anaheim. The California Highway Patrol confirmed that the collision occurred at approximately 10:20 p.m. near the Katella Avenue exit.

Emergency personnel were dispatched immediately following reports of the crash. A representative from the Orange County coroner’s office arrived at the scene at 11:01 p.m. to assist with the investigation and recovery process. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
