Imperial Co., CA – 1 Seriously Injured in Semi-Truck Collision on I-8 Near Winterhaven Dr

Imperial County, CA (September 20, 2025) – One person suffered major injuries Friday morning, September 19, in a collision involving a passenger vehicle and a semi-truck on Interstate 8 in Imperial County. The crash occurred near the Winterhaven Drive off-ramp around 9:25 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Reports indicate that a Toyota Prius collided with a semi-truck under circumstances that remain under investigation.
