Stanford, CA (June 2, 2025) – A Stanford University student riding a bicycle was struck and killed by a vehicle early Saturday morning, May 31, near campus, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash occurred at approximately 2:57 a.m. over the weekend at the intersection of Palm Drive and Arboretum Road, just west of the Stanford Stadium.
CHP officers arrived on the scene within minutes, with multiple units responding throughout the early morning hours. The bicyclist, identified as Aradshar Chaddar, was pronounced dead at the scene. The collision is under investigation, but police said neither alcohol nor drugs is believed to be a factor. However, no further details were released as the investigation proceeds.
